Groomed by Stella — Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Groomed by Stella, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments must be booked in advance. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service will apply.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows: A cancellation fee of 100% of the booked service will apply.

Any outstanding cancellation fee must be paid before another appointment can be booked. Genuine emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Pricing

Pricing is based on your dog’s breed, size, coat type and coat condition at the time of the appointment.

Quotes are estimates only and may vary depending on the condition of the coat, behaviour and the amount of work required. Final pricing will be confirmed at collection.

3. Late Pick-Up

Dogs should be collected promptly once you have been notified that their groom is complete.

A daycare fee may apply if your dog is collected more than 15 minutes after notification of completion.

4. Coat Condition & Matting

If your dog’s coat is severely matted, it may need to be clipped shorter than requested for their comfort and safety.

Matting can cause or conceal skin irritation, sores and other skin issues that may become apparent once the coat is removed.

I will always work in your dog’s best interests and will let you know if a significantly shorter clip is necessary.

5. Health & Behaviour

Please advise me before your appointment of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, medications or behavioural concerns, including anxiety or aggression.

If your dog becomes distressed, aggressive or unsafe to handle, I may modify or discontinue the groom. Charges may still apply for work already completed.

6. Fleas, Ticks & Parasites

If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, treatment may be required at the owner’s expense and an additional cleaning fee may apply.

7. Emergencies

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will attempt to contact you immediately.

If you cannot be reached and veterinary attention is considered necessary, I may seek veterinary treatment for your dog. The owner is responsible for associated veterinary costs.

8. Photography

Photographs may be taken of your dog for business records, educational purposes, social media or promotional use.

Please let me know if you do not consent to photographs of your dog being used.

9. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.

10. Agreement

By booking an appointment with Groomed by Stella, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
